Very Luxery Hotel. The rooms are perfect, every detail is perfect in the room. We stayed at poolside suit and I highly recommend that room to everyone. I thing It's not necessary to stay at the villas unless you're not a crowded family. It's hard to find a luxery hotel like gurich with that price range. Especially the rooms are perfect. The staff are very kind and polite. There 's gab at the bathroom for design of the bathroom and I thing it was great but one nigth an insect entered from this gap and my wife scares from the insects very bad so we told this to the management and they closed this gap for us it was very polite. Also it was our honeymoon and they made little surprises to us everyday.
The beach was good but the sea is not. Nobody swam in the sea during our stay. But it's 10 minutes away from Lamai beach by car. The pool was not deep enough. (120 cm) The spa was very very expensive for thailand. It was same price with one day stay in the poolside suit.

Design hotel, kind of room, beautifull gardens..
Cheap. I was there last year, everything was perfect, that's why I choose to return even is the name was not the same.. But for sure, Gurich hotel is not The Langham.. Staff is not able to speak english, blanket with holes, used condom on pool.. Breakfast cheap, service too long. Room service 24/24 is done, strange for a 5stars hotel.. Manager not able to take decision if you are disapointed (cause of the director from Bangkok, arrogant, without commercial spirit). Unfortenunetly, i've not enough place to write my disapointment. The name will change soon (again) maybe it'll be better, but they have lot of work.

The ocean pool villa was superb and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was good and there was a good range of choice. The daily lantern service at seven pm was a beautiful touch.

The venue has peaceful and ideal setting in Thong Takian district near to nature and also the Chinese art of feng sui, and The Pier/Starlight Dinner. Would definitely go again when in Lamai Beach, we did not want to leave.

I upgrade from a poolside suite to a private villa pool. Nice to have your swimming pool in your room. But that's all.
The hotel is very expensive, I've been there for the second time, you always have to repeat to the staff your order (at least 3 times), the blanket were not clean ( blood, hole...) The waiters are not used to speak english, and they are not treating you like clients. They feel they are superior... I will not recommend this hotel.

Within its price range (around 100 euros for the cheapest room) this is the best hotel I have tried in Ko Samui. It is a boutique hotel shows an effort with its service and makes the guest as comfortable as possible, but it is its design that deserves my highest praise: elegant and unpretentious with a strong Asian feel throughout; something that is sadly missing in many hotels in Thailand, at least in its non-kitsch version.
Breakfast needs improvement in its variety and quality.

The private plunge pool was my favorite part-totally secluded and perfect after a day out. Plus, I loved how cozy the atmosphere was, really felt special here.

This is a great boutique hotel where attention to detail and tasteful, unpretentious design is a constant theme. A beautiful and romantic hotel that I would advise to anyone visiting the island. For the price maybe the best hotel I have visited in Thailand. If it was not in Samui I would definitely go back
The breakfast lacked variety and the quality was far below the usual standard of a five star hotel. Dinner was also overpriced for Thailand but appropriate to a five star hotel; unfortunately its quality was not: one pays five star prices for the cooking of a cheap restaurant. I also would like to point out that the beaches in Samui are not worth the trip: you can get much better ones in the Mediterranean without having to pay tourist trap taxis (600 BHT from the airport and 300BHT minimum to go anywhere) , eat in often bad restaurants and live with bad smells and dirt. Head for the smaller islands near Phuket and Krabi instead.

Friendly staff made for a pleasant stay.
Our room had significant maintenance issues, including rusty lamps and broken pool beams. The breakfast quality was lower than expected, with lukewarm coffee and lackluster presentation.

We really enhoyed staying at langham. we just wanted to relax at the resort so inconvient location was not matter to us. The staff was extremely kind and spoke very good english. The service was very satisfied. The best thing I loved there is music! Just made it perfect for us. I would really go back there again!

For your own sake please don't go here.
Not worth 5 stars. We booked at the time this was still part of The Langham, but clearly it is not anymore. We had to ask every single day to get our room serviced. Design is not very good: you have to go outside in the heat to go to the bathroom (with mosquitos around everywhere). Staff was not friendly, not a smile to be seen on any of the faces. Prices of the hotel food are 5 star but it is moderate at best. Also avoid the sorbet icecream, it's horrible with big chunks of ice in it. There is no real beach either, even though it's advertised. We checked out 5 days early and none of the staff asked why!
